I have a BSc(Hons) in Biological Science from Queens University, Belfast (2:2). At A level I achieved Grade B in Biology and Spanish and grade C in Chemistry and in June 2002 I obtained 10 GCSE pass grades; A grades in
Maths, Spanish, Double Award Science, Religious Education, English, French B grade in Business Studies and technology, and C grade in Art and Design. I achieved my Silver Youth Action Award obtained in 2002. I was also involved in the setting up of my church as the first Green Congregation in Northern Ireland.
Talents
I play the flute and piano and have also been trained vocally. I have gained Associated Board of Music qualifications in these; Grade 5 in flute, Grade 4 in Piano and Grade 5 in singing. I had studied to Grade 5 level, although have not yet taken the exam and continue to study dance in my free time. I have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
I play badminton and netball and have a keen interest in dance; tap and tap. I enjoy singing and am classically trained to grade 5. I am currently a volunteer in Ballymena Y.M.C.A Drop in Centre for children ages 9 -18. I help supervise in the centre and arrange excursions and events for the children.
Beginning September ’08, I hope to start a masters in International Event and Festival Management. I have always had a keen interest in organising Events and my job with Red Bull has futher increased my interest in working in this section.
