Binibining Pilipinas 2009 is the 46th annual Binibining Pilipinas, a beauty pageant in the Philippines. The grand coronation night took place on March 7th at the Araneta Coliseum, and was broadcasted by GMA Network and GMA’s international channel, GMA Pinoy TV. 24 ladies competed for the three major crowns.
Patricia Fernandez, Bb. Pilipinas-International 2008, crowned Melody Gersbach as her successor to represent Philippines to the Miss International 2009 pageant in Macau, People’s Republic of China. Jennifer Barrientos, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2008, relinquished her title to Pamela Bianca Manalo who will compete for the title of Miss Universe 2009 in Nassau, Bahamas in late August, while Bb. Pilipinas-World Danielle Castano passed her crown on to Marie-Ann Umali, who will represent the country in the Miss World 2009 in South Africa.

- About one-hundred applicants joined the pageant, only thirty-six has been asked for final judging. Finally, the judges picked the top twenty-four that will compete in the final pageant.
- Candidate #10, Priscilla Navidad is the former deaf-housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus of ABS-CBN.
- Candidate #3, Ritchell Angalot aka Rich Asuncion is a GMA Network contract artist and was the StarStruck Batch First Princess Angalot is the second StarStruck alumna and fourth GMA Network talent to compete in this pageant. Ailyn Luna (the first StarStruck alumna to compete in the pageant) and Binibining Pilipinas-World 2007 Margaret Nales Wilson were both GMA talents who competed in 2007, as well as Lalaine Edson, Binibining Pilipinas-World 1999.
- Candidate #24 Abigail Lesley Cruz is the first runner-up of the 2007 Binibining Pilipinas Pageant. Cruz is currently dating the Binibining Pilipinas Pageant host, Paolo Bediones.
