Sofia Rudieva – Miss Russia 2009
Sofia Rudieva, the 18 year old from St. Petersburg was crowned Miss Russia 2009 last March 7, Crowning her is the last year’s Miss Russia 2008, Ksenia Sukhinova which is also the reigning Miss World 2008 together with the current Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela.
Fifty women competed for the title, Krasnodar Region representative Svetlana Stepankovskaya, finished as first runner-up while Ksenia Shipilova of Kohma Region is the second runner-up.
Sofia will represent Russia in the Upcoming Miss Universe 2009. to be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 30, 2009.
