Marjorie Cevallos – Miss World Ecuador 2008

Marjorie Cevallos Vera (b. c. 1986), Miss World Ecuador 2008, was chosen on March 13, 2008. Cevallos will represent her country in Miss World 2008. She studied social communication and she’s a professional model in her country, she is also one of the favorites of the competition miss world.

With 22 years old, Marjorie Cevallos has won 22 beauty pageants. The last one will lead her to competing in the Miss World, in Ukraine.

Early Life

Marjorie was born in the capital, Guayaquil, but grew up in Duran a small city close by. She has completed two years of her course for communication at Guayaguil’s University; is fulfilling her role as Miss Ecuador; has presented a sports TV programme and worked as a model. Her ambition is to be a good journalist. Sporting & leisure interests are: basketball; singing; dance; and looking after her shitzu called Mao. The craziest thing she has ever done was on vacation in Ambato, she was the first of her group to bungee jump; it was an exciting experience but would never do it again. Favourite food is “ceviche”, which is a delicious meal of different sea foods from the Ecuadorian coast.
