MISS Swaziland Tiffany Simelane flew out of the country yesterday morning for the Miss World pageant to be held in South Africa and arrived safely.
The Miss Swaziland committee, led by Vinah Mamba-Grey was also at the airport
Tiffany said she arrived safely in South Africa.
“I am in my hotel room right now and will be meeting the other contestants later in the day,” she said.
Red Square at the Swazi Plaza also presented the beauty Queen with a cosmetic hamper worth E3500.
The Miss World 2008 contest will be hosted by Johannesburg – World Class African City. The 58th Miss World Final is scheduled for the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on December 12.
The event, initially scheduled to take place at Ukraine was moved to South Africa due to the civil unrest in that country.
