Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe pageant will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 30, 2009. Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela, will crown her successor at the end of this event. About 80 countries and territories are expected to compete and the pageant will broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo.
