Upcoming Pageants
- Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe pageant will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza from Venezuela, will crown her successor at the end of this event. More than 85 countries and territories will compete for the prestigious title and the pageant will broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo.
- Miss World 2009, the 59th Miss World pageant, will be held on December 12, 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her successor at the end of this event. About 110 contestants are expected to attend the event.
